Counselling and Healing of Activists
There are many trainees in the MHI Leadership and Capacity Building Training who have been through a lot in their personal lives. Most of them have trauma due to the violence and constant discrimination that they have been facing in both their personal and professional spaces. WAYVE is provided separate healing sessions and therapy to them through a certified psychologist and also making them able to give psychological support to other people in distress.

Support to Women Headed Organizations from deprived communities.
WAYVE supports Dalit women headed organisations in many ways. We are empowering them to get access to resources to strengthen the work of their organizations. We are also helping them to do strategic planning and perspective building to enhance their work and activities. We support them to build visibility of their work and their organizations. We also support grassroot women activists who have the potential to lead to set up community based organizations.

Support and Healing to the Survivors of Violence
WAYVE provides healing and support to the survivors of caste-based sexual violence by providing them of mental health experts, following up their cases throughout and rehabilitating them.

Working for COVID Relief
Helpline: WAYVE set up an online helpline Relief and Aid Helpline (RAAH) to provide support to the migrant labourers from the poor communities who needed help during the Covid 19 lockdown in 2020. Support was provided to migrant workers in the state of Gujarat, Maharashra, Tamil Nadu who came from the state of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.

Distribution of ration Kits: Ration kits were distributed to mainly the destitute single women, daily wage earners from the most deprived communities through the support of individual and funding organizations in the states of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Gujarat, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. We also provided a small monetary help to each of our activists who were COVID positive or who had a COVID positive member in their family. Apart from that, we distributed pulse-oxymeters and oxygen concentrators to doctors and hospitals in Uttar Pradesh.Â
In Ahmedabad, we distributed cooked meals to over 100 COVID patients and healthcare workers including the doctors and nurses for almost a month at at the Ahmedabad civil hospital during the second wave of COVID-19.Â

Building and Sustaining Marginalised Women’s Leadership Workshop
WAYVE conducts in-person workshops with the trainees in the MHI Leadership and Capacity Building Training where all the activists get to know each other and bond well with each other. It’s a four days workshop wherein various activities are conducted in order to heal and capacitate the participants for their activism at the grassroots.
